RICKY LIM

NETS Group CEO and MD, NETS Solutions


Mr Ricky Lim has over 25 years of experience in corporate banking with a track record of building high-performance teams in delivering innovative products and services. He has been NETS’ Group CEO since November 2019. Mr Lim was instrumental in spearheading Singapore’s FAST (Fast and Secure Transfers), a critical real-time payments infrastructure, which enables customers to instantaneously transfer funds between different banks and the launch of NETS Click, a world’s first in digital tokenisation of local debit cards for mobile payments.

Prior to joining NETS Solutions, Mr Lim was Senior Vice President and Head of Regional Cash Management at OCBC Bank responsible for driving the cash product strategy for Global Transaction Banking in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Greater China.

A regular speaker on advanced payments, Mr Lim was previously invited by the US Federal Reserve, Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) and other Fintech organisations to share his thoughts and expertise.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from the University of London.

SEAH CHIN SIONG

Mr Seah Chin Siong is currently the President & Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Institute of Management.

Prior to this, Mr Seah was the Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Pools (Private) Limited. He led the organisation as a trusted and responsible gaming operator in Singapore. In addition, he led the organisation in embarking on significant efforts to transform it into a modern and efficient entity. These included making Singapore Pools an online operator under the Remote Gambling Act, and launching Singapore Pools’ digital iShine Cloud in support of all charities and social enterprises in Singapore.

Mr Seah was also the founding Chief Executive Officer of IDA International, a subsidiary of the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA). He was responsible for crystallising and executing IDA International’s mission and vision to help public agencies deliver socio-economic outcomes enabled through public service infocomm.

In his earlier years, Mr Seah was the Managing Director of Accenture’s Public Service Operating Group for Asia-Pacific and the Country Managing Director of Accenture Singapore.

Ms Lim Ming Pey joined Temasek in June 1999 and is currently Managing Director, Organisation & People and Strategy Office.

Ming Pey started her career with the organisation as an Investment Officer, before moving onto various corporate roles. She oversees Organisational Development within the Organisation & People team, and manages the staff engagement, organisation planning, and change management activities. As part of the Strategy Office, she supports the senior team in strategic planning and the implementation of key institutional initiatives to prepare staff for the future.

Ming Pey holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) degree from Nanyang Technological University, with a specialisation in Banking and Finance.

Mr Ng Aik-Phong is the Managing Director and founding member of Fave, one of Southeast Asia’s leading mobile payments and rewards platforms. AP, as he is more commonly known, currently heads out Fave's Singapore business, focusing on growing the Deals, Takeaway and FavePay cashless payment and loyalty rewards solution serving more than 10,000 merchants in the city state. Fave Pay crossed 1 million FavePay transactions in Singapore within a year of launch, and is ranked the #2 e-Commerce app in the 2019 Customer Satisfaction Index of Singapore (CSISG) report.

He was previously the Head of National Accounts for Groupon APAC, building and driving a regional business unit that generated annual revenues in excess of $50 Million across 7 countries (Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia & Singapore).

GILBERTO GAETA

Director, Southeast Asia, Google Customer Solutions


Mr Gilberto (Gil) Gaeta is a business leader with 15 years of experience, mostly in Asian growth markets. His main expertise is in general management and sales, accumulated in Digital Advertising, Consulting, and start-ups, through situations of high-growth and turnarounds.

Gil is the Country Director for Google Customer Solutions. He currently leads the Small Business and Mid-market Sales teams focused on online marketing solutions for Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and South Asia Frontier markets. Prior to Google, Gil worked in a Big Data start-up, where he served as VP APAC. Before that, he was an Engagement Manager at Bain & Company, working with clients across Asia and Europe.

Gil has an MBA with Honors from INSEAD and a Master degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Aalborg (Denmark) and University of Rome – Tor Vergata (Italy). He has been based in Singapore since 2006.

Mr Douglas Ng’s hawkerpreneurship journey began because of the love that he had for his grandmother’s handmade fishballs. He realised the importance of preserving this beautiful heritage and founded the Fishball Story 6 years ago. Fishball Story is more than just a story - it’s about touching the lives of others, reminiscing the childhood days when grandmothers made it happened in their kitchen. Treading on this unconventional path, it was his strong passion for culinary that made all of this possible.

Director and 3rd Generation Owner, 9s Seafood


Mr Eddie Seetho founded 9s Seafood to carry on the 3rd generation wet market family business, that has been running for over 60 years. Realising his passion early, he left polytechnic before completing his studies to focus on the business full-time, and to gain more on-the-job experience. Today, almost 20 years into the trade, Eddie is set on digitalising this traditional business to maintain its longevity so that the next generation could continue to enjoy fresh seafood in the years to come.
